West7, in conjunction with the WRCA Foundation, is postponing the Celebrating the WestSM Weekend Amarillo, originally scheduled for March 28-29, 2025. This event is a fundraiser for the WRCA Foundation's Cowboy Crisis, Disaster Relief, and Scholarship funds. A new date will be announced.
West7 Inc. produces Celebrating the WestSM Weekends in towns across North America as fundraisers for one or more nonprofits promoting Western culture. This is a two-to-three-day weekend featuring Western/Cowboy, Western Swing, or Western Country music, poetry, and storytelling, together with chuckwagon meals and exhibits of Western art and books, plus cowboy trappings vendors showing and selling leather goods, spurs, bits, silver work, saddles, boots, and hats.
Weekends are sponsored by the Academy of Western Artists, produced by West7, Inc. and feature both local/regional professionals as well as those in today's national top tier of each genre.
These weekends raise funds for a great national organization, the Working Ranch Cowboys Association (WRCA) Foundation's Cowboy Crisis, Disaster Relief, and Scholarship Funds, as well as selected local Western cultural organizations (museums, trails, etc.).
