The Rodear

The Rodear is a three-day celebration of Western arts, culture, and community held annually in Bridgeport, California. Now in its 7th year, The Rodear honors the traditions of the West while showcasing the next generation of western women artists and makers through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and education.
We are a nonprofit event that uplifts and invests in western women creatives—artists, makers, poets, and singer-songwriters—through:
- Public exhibitions
- Live performances
- Workshops led by skilled makers
- Educational opportunities via our Sallie Knowles Joseph Scholarship Program
