Step back in time at historic Fort Lancaster in Fort Lupton, Colorado, for an unforgettable Western heritage experience filled with cowboy poetry, storytelling, music, humor, and an optional hearty chuckwagon meal featuring slow-smoked brisket, creamed corn, smoked potatoes, rolls or cornbread, and a delicious dessert.
Presented by the Colorado Cowboy Gathering and the South Platte Valley Historical Society, this intimate afternoon and evening event features acclaimed cowboy poet Ken Cook and award-winning Western musician Paul Larson performing against the backdrop of one of Colorado’s most unique historic settings.
